“CHRISTMAS IN JULY” SWEEPSTAKES

These Official Rules govern the “Christmas in July” Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) offered by The Christmas Kings LLC. By participating, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Promotion.

1. Sponsor

The Christmas Kings LLC (“Sponsor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), an Illinois limited liability company.

This Promotion is sponsored and administered solely by The Christmas Kings LLC. It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook/Meta, Instagram, or any other social media platform. You understand that you are providing your information to the Sponsor and not to any social media platform.

2. Promotion Period

The Promotion begins July 1, 2026 at 12:00:01 a.m. Central Time and ends July 31, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. Central Time (the “Promotion Period”). The Sponsor’s computer or designated timekeeping device is the official timekeeper for the Promotion.

3. Eligibility

This Promotion is open only to individuals who, as of the date of entry, meet ALL of the following requirements:

• Are legal residents of the United States and at least eighteen (18) years of age (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is greater);
• Own or are authorized to contract for lighting services at a residential or commercial property located within the Sponsor’s service area — Bolingbrook, IL and surrounding communities, generally including Naperville, Plainfield, Lemont, Clarendon Hills, Hinsdale, Woodridge, Lisle, Wheaton, Oswego, Aurora, Romeoville, Shorewood, Joliet, Lemont, Lockport, and other communities within approximately 30 miles of Bolingbrook;  
• Are new customers of the Sponsor (i.e., have not previously purchased a completed installation from the Sponsor). Both residential and commercial new customers are eligible.

Employees, owners, members, and contractors of the Sponsor, and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling) and members of their households, are not eligible to win the drawing prize.

4. The 10% Discount Offer

Separately from the drawing, all new customers who book an eligible installation during the Promotion Period will receive 10% off the price of that installation. Key terms:

• Applies to new bookings of Christmas/holiday lighting installations and permanent architectural lighting placed during the Promotion Period (July 1–31, 2026).
• Available to new customers only. One discount applies per qualifying installation.
• Cannot be combined with the drawing prize (see Section 8), with other discounts, or with prior bookings. The discount has no cash value and is non-transferable.

Receiving the 10% discount is not required to enter the drawing, and entering the drawing does not require booking. The discount and the drawing are described together only for convenience.

5. How to Enter the Drawing

There are two (2) ways to receive one (1) entry into the random drawing. No purchase is necessary, and both methods have an equal chance of winning.

Method 1 — Book an Installation (Standard Entry)

Book an eligible new installation with the Sponsor and pay the required booking deposit during the Promotion Period. Each paid, non-refundable deposit on a qualifying new booking earns one (1) entry into the drawing. https://christmaskings.pro/#estimate

Method 2 — Free Alternate Method of Entry (No Purchase Necessary)

To enter for free, choose either option below during the Promotion Period:

• By Mail: Hand-print your full name, complete mailing address, phone number, email address, and the words “Christmas in July Free Entry” on a 3×5-inch card and mail it in an envelope to: The Christmas Kings LLC, Attn: Christmas in July Sweepstakes, 2735 Hassert Blvd, Suite 135 PMB 2057, Naperville, IL 60564

Mail-in entries must be postmarked by July 31, 2026 and received by August 7, 2026. Limit one (1) card per outer envelope. Mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete, or late entries are void. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or postage-due mail.

Entry Limit

Limit one (1) entry per household or per service address, regardless of the method used. A participant who books installations at multiple distinct service addresses may receive one (1) entry per qualifying address. Attempts to exceed the stated limit (including use of multiple addresses, emails, or identities not genuinely your own) will void all of that participant’s entries.

6. Winner Selection, Drawing Date & Odds

One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received through both methods. The drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor on or about Saturday, August 15, 2026, and the winner will be announced on that date.

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Because that number is not known in advance, exact odds cannot be stated here.

7. Prize

One (1) Prize will be awarded: a free lighting installation — either Christmas/holiday lighting or permanent architectural lighting, at the winner’s choice — with a maximum approximate retail value (“ARV”) of One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00 USD), inclusive of materials, labor, and overhead.

Prize limitations and conditions:

• If the total value of the winner’s selected installation (labor, materials, and overhead) exceeds $1,500.00, the Prize will be applied as a $1,500.00 credit toward the total job value, and the winner is responsible for paying the remaining balance.
• The Prize has no cash value, is non-transferable, and may not be substituted, sold, or exchanged, except that the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated Prize becomes unavailable.
• The Prize cannot be combined with the 10% discount offer or with any other discount, coupon, or promotion.
• The Prize covers a standard installation within the Sponsor’s service area. Work requiring specialized equipment, permits, electrical modifications, or access beyond a standard residential/commercial install is not included and would be quoted separately.
• Redemption: the Prize installation must be scheduled and completed during the 2026–2027 service season by no later than December 20, 2026 for holiday lighting (or a date mutually agreed in writing for permanent lighting). 

All federal, state, and local taxes and any other costs not specifically described as included are the sole responsibility of the winner. If the ARV of the Prize is $600 or more, the Sponsor may be required to issue the winner an IRS Form 1099, and the winner may be required to provide a completed IRS Form W-9 (including a Social Security number or TIN) before the Prize is awarded.

8. Winner Notification & Claiming the Prize

The potential winner will be notified using the contact information associated with their entry (by phone, text, and/or email) within five (5) business days of the drawing. The potential winner may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and (where lawful) a Publicity Release, and any required tax documentation, within seven (7) days of notification.

If a potential winner cannot be reached within seven (7) days, declines the Prize, is found ineligible, fails to return required documents, or otherwise fails to comply with these Official Rules, the Prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries, time permitting.

9. Publicity Release

Except where prohibited by law, by accepting the Prize the winner consents to the Sponsor’s use of their name, city/town of residence, voice, statements, and likeness (including photographs and video of the completed installation) for advertising, promotional, and publicity purposes in any media, worldwide, without further notice, compensation, or approval.

10. General Conditions

• The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion, or acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
• If the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for any reason (including tampering, fraud, technical failure, or other causes beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control), the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Promotion and conduct the drawing from eligible entries received up to that point.
• Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or that do not comply with these Official Rules are void.

11. Release & Limitation of Liability

By participating, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsor and its owner, members, employees, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Promotion, acceptance, use, or misuse of the Prize, or any installation work performed, except where prohibited by law. The Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware, software, telephone, or other communications malfunctions, or for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries.

12. Disputes & Governing Law

These Official Rules and the Promotion are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Promotion shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Will County or DuPage County, Illinois, and entrants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

13. Privacy

Information collected from entrants is subject to the Sponsor’s privacy practices and will be used to administer the Promotion and, where you have agreed, to contact you about the Sponsor’s services. 14. Winner List & Copy of These Rules
